1999 Visit to Westmoreland State Park, Montross, Virginia

We returned to Westmoreland State Park in mid July of 1999. This was a "men-only" camping trip - we left Mom behind so she could "recharge her batteries".

The pool at Westmoreland State Park. This is where we spent most of our time.

View of the Potomac River from above the cliffs. At the base of the cliffs, it is possible to find fossils. We only found two shark's teeth this trip.

This beetle visited our camper on Sunday morning. Notice how long his antennae are - about 3 times the length of his body. Oh, by the way...he flies too.

Keith snapped this picture of me when I wasn't looking. Notice the cluttered look of the camper in "men-only" mode.

All packed up and ready to go home.
