May, 2000 MAPCE Campout at Knoebel's Amusement Resort
The first MAPCE group campout of 2000 was held at Knoebel's Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA. Turnout was light, only three families made it to the campground, probably due to the dismal weather predictions. Fortunately, the weather actually turned out OK, with rain at night and in the early morning hours, but relatively dry conditions for the amusement park visit itself.
