May, 2001 trip to King's Dominion.
We traveled to King's Dominion in Doswell, Virginia for a weekend of roller coasters and rides. We stayed at the King's Dominion Campground, which is located adjacent to the park. Free shuttles were available between the park and the campground.The campground was nice, but to be honest
we didn't spend much time there. If you are looking for pictures or descriptions
of the campground, you won't find any here. We spent all our daylight hours
at King's Dominion.

The Hypersonic XLC. This was the first day
the new launch coaster was open to the public. The ride experienced frequent
breakdowns and we did not get a chance to ride it this time.

At the end of the day, Keith and Scott waited
and waited for a chance at the front seat on the Shockwave.
