1999 Capital KOA, Millersville, MD

We visited the Capital KOA in Millersville, MD so we could have a convenient base camp for weekend activities in Baltimore and Annapolis. Unfortunately, I DIDN'T BRING MY CAMERA so I don't have any pictures. Except for the steep price tag (about $35 a night), I was very happy with this KOA. There are wooded popup and tent sites around the perimeter of the campground and open, pull through RV sites in the center. The staff was very professional and the campground and facilities were very clean. A lot of people were using this campground as a base camp for Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD activities.

On Saturday, we spent the day on an all-day cruise aboard the SS John W. Brown, a World War II Liberty Ship. I don't have any pictures because I DIDN'T BRING MY CAMERA. It was a beautiful day for a cruise though and it was really cool to be on board one of the ships that transported troops and materials overseas during the war.
